Tumwesigye Melchiades Kururagire

Raised in Uganda, I pursued further education in Cuba, earning a Master of Science in Agriculture Mechanical Engineering from the Higher Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science in Havana.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

With a decade-long tenure at Kinyara Sugar Works Ltd in Uganda, I served as the Haulage Transport Manager, overseeing all vehicles, trucks, and tractors involved in transporting sugarcane to the factory. Additionally, I proudly represent K.S. Projects and Process Engineers Pvt Ltd, India, I’m also a member of Sugar Technology in Uganda.

CURRENT ROLE:

Since 2012, I have been dedicatedly leading Masazie Holding Ltd as the Managing Director, specializing in the distribution of petroleum products.

Henry Muhwezi

Born Raised in Uganda, pursued further education in in Uganda and Denmark, He is Social Worker by profession and entrepreneur.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

Worked with the Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Uganda, Rwanda, DRC and South Sudan. Founder and Chairman People’s Welfare and Development, a public benefit organization (PBO) non - profit organization with registered offices in South Africa where it has 22 outlets in all 9 provinces and fully registered in in Lesotho as non-Governmental organiAation

Since 2009, I have been devoted to Masazie Holdings Ltd and it growth as the Deputy Managing Director, specializing in investment and Capital Projects Feasibility in Africa and beyond.

Herbert Tumusiime

PERSONAL DETAILS

Herbert Tumusiime was born in 1960 in a small town called Mbarara, in South Western Uganda. He is an alumni of Makerere University in Kampala Uganda. He holds a BA degree in Social Sciences, which explains his good exposure to such disciplines as Psychology, Political Science and Economics. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1985, the year in which the incumbent government of the day was about to collapse due to invading guerrilla forces headed by Yoweri Museveni, the current president of Uganda.

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Herbert Tumusiime taught Economics at Institute of Accountants and commerce (IAC), at Kamwokya in Kampala Uganda in 1986. In January 1987, he was appointed as Assistant Secretary General, responsible for the Social Sciences desk – Uganda National commission for UNESCO. His key performance area was liaising with all Social Sciences stakeholders in Uganda, with the objective of contributing to the Uganda specific data for the annual UNESCO general assembly in Geneva.

INVOLVEMENT IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

UNESCO work gives a platform for interfacing with people from different backgrounds. It is against this background that Herbert got opportunity to interact with different people from Southern Africa. In 1990 Herbert moved to South Africa, taking up a teaching position at Lesedi High School in former Bophuthatshwana, before pooling resources with fellow educators to start their own private college – Academy of business and computer studies. The college has campuses in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Durdan. In 2013, Masazie Holdings advertised a position of Manager: Corporate Communication, which he applied for and is currently holding.

Tinyibyenda Wilbroad

Tinkibyenda w was born on 18 April 1960 in Kibimba village Buhweju district in Western Uganda, he has been in the republic of south Africa since 1990 and currently residing in Johannesburg.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Tinkibyenda holds:

Bsc(Hons) Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education both from Makerere University Kampala Uganda

CIMA- Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting ( UK )

WORKING EXPERIENCE

-After completing his PGDE, Tinkibyenda was appointed as a Biology Teacher at Kololo High School (1988-1989 )

In Jan 1990, Tinkibyenda moved to South Africa taking up a teaching position at Lesedi High School ( in Northern Cape Province )

-In 1998 Tinkibyenda pooled resources with fellow Educators to start the College- Academy of Business and Computer studies. He was a director of Marketing and Business Development.

-In 2013 Tinkibyenda was appointed as a Marketing Manager at Masazie Holdings ( Pty ) till now and my duties are:

To develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the company’s fuel supply

To identify potential customers

To co-ordinate delivery of the product to the client

Managing advertising campaigns

Conducting research and evaluating demand

Preparing marketing budget

Analysing the market and competitiveness
